Classic 1985 4x4 Jimmy K5 with the 6.2 diesel, coming rust free from Las Vegas in 2007. Looks like it has never seen snow or salt. 4 inch lift with 35/12.5/15 tires. Warner manual hubs. PS, PB. Body is solid and tight and does not appear to ever had any damage repair. I did not find any bondo anywhere! Undercarridge is really clean with only light surface rust. The paint job is recent and not perfect, but very presentable. There are a few little dents here and there. Starts easy and runs strong. The desert climate preserved the body very well, but several other areas show wear from the sun. The plastic lenses and emblems have dulled and the dash has cracked. The chrome bumpers have dulled and flaked in places. Not a bad trade off in exchange for the condition of the body. Rides on the highway as to be expected for this type of vehicle. I bought this Jimmy in 2009 and only put 33 maintance miles on it. Always stored inside. I have copies of the Auto Check that traces it's history. 114,436 believed to be the original miles, which is nothing for a diesel. The power steering pump was professionally rebuilt, a cracked bracket was replaced with new old stock, and all new power steering hoses were put on. I replaced the fuel return lines and caps, and changed the oil. There seems to be no major hidden problems. It would be a good idea to give the vehicle a good going over before taking it any long distances on the highway. Illinois title is clear. Owners manual will be included. The rest of the not too terrible stuff.....the driver's door is missing the chrome strip, the driver's power window switch is bad, no radio, no washer bottle, speedometer works but none of the guages register probably due to a bad ground. Air conditioner is not working. There is a jack but no spare, and the tires do not have much life left on them. The emblem on the horn button is cracked, and the steering column seems to have some play in it. For sale because of a change in plans. I was going to bring the GMC back down to earth for a good summer driver. Too many projects right now. The first time I drove the Jimmy it became evident that it is, for lack of a better censored phrase, a 'girl wagon'.
