Selling my 2000 AUDI A6 4.2L ( widebody style ) Quattro with automatic/ tiptronic transmission. This car has been well maintained and both the exterior and interior are in decent condition. The car has been upgraded with a stage 1 / 91+ / ECU upgrade as well as a aluminum performance exhaust and a K&N Filter. There are 186,000 mi. on the car. The stock HP on the car is 300hp but with the upgrades it should have roughly 350hp. It drives smooth however; there is one DEFECT/ISSUE. The main and ONLY thing wrong with this car is that the car does not go in REVERSE. I've been told it was a reverse drum and could be rebuilt. I've seen (and was about to buy) a used transmission for $1600 - $1700 ( mainly from Shokan - which is huge salvaged Audi parts dealer in NY). It drives and shifts fine in forward but the reverse stopped working about a month ago. IF you can fix this issue it is a great buy - since all the other aspects of the car are in good condition. $3800 Upgrades include: - Stage 1 - 91+ octane ECU upgrade - $500 value- Magnaflow Aluminum Cat-Back Performance Exhaust with dual stainless steel tip - $1000 value- K&N Performance Filter - $50 value- Premium RS6 style 17' rims with performance tires - $750 value- Chrome style (RS6 look) sideview mirrors- LLTek rear spoiler and rear window rain gaurd/lip- 30% window tint What's wrong with the car. - Reverse not working. Needs new transmission or rebuild - $1700 value- minor interior/exterior touch up needed. ( little things like the side mirror switch needs replacing etc..) NADA and KBB value this car at around $5500 but because of the transmission issue I am selling it at around the value; minus the cost of buying a transmission to rebuild the car.
