Vehicle Detail
This sale is for a 1969 Ford Mustang BOSS 302. ENDS OCTOBER 28 CHECK THE EBAY OFFICIAL ENDING TIME. This car was just removed from a 32 year sleep. It was stored in a garage with a concrete floor. The previous owner was a retired engineer at Ford Motor Company. He found this car in Dearborn in 1980 and put the car in storage. The DSO is from Detroit so this car never made it far from home. Not sure if it had ties with any of the auto manufactures or even Ford Motor Co as it was common for companies to obtain vehicles from their competition by simply going to the nearest dealer. Check the key fob. It is a heavy aluminum tag stamped BOSS MUSTANG! The car shows 5500 miles and is wearing what looks to be the original tires and wheels. The F7015 Firestone Wide Ovals and steel rims and dog dish hubcaps. The drivers door is original and the data tag matches the vin. Often these are missing. The car is complete but does not have the original motor or transmission. Again it was not uncommon for the engine to be removed for observation then dumping the body. Not stating this is the case only a theory. What is real is the car is an original G code and is vin specific for a BOSS 302. Many try and clone these cars but this is how they fail with an incorrect vin. The factory Transmission was a close ratio four speed and was an option. It appears someone installed the motor and automatic trans years ago (prior to 1980) and didn't finish. The four speed pedals are still in place as is the 3:91 Locker Rear. It has front Discs and T/A Lower A arms. You can see the BOSS only shock tower brace. This car needs a total restoration. If you do not know what means then maybe you shouldn't bid. It needs everything. If you are thinking of a 69 Mustang though this may be the most inexpensive collectable Mustang available for sale. If you plan to find and restore a Mustang you know you can buy everything from a catalog. A Boss has a premium value over any other Mustang. Most 302 cars change hands in the $45/$50K and up range some over $100K. This car has the right colors Yellow and Black. No bondo No Primer No cover up. It is what it is rough and all. The 1969 BOSS 302 is the rare one as only 1600 were made. By the time everyone figured out how bad these cars were in 1970 the production numbers jumped to over 7000. This car would be great for a resto mod with an added roller 5.0/EFI The car is still a BOSS. I have a Marti Report confirming this car is the real deal. I have a signed Michigan title. Please email any questions. (1) I will not sell parts. (2) I do not have any other parts. If you don't see it do not assume it is here. (3) I reserve to keep the full vin private. Ebay is public, I am not. Once posted it is forever and you never know who or why someone ends up with it. I will let the new owner decide. The new owner will have all the bragging rights and be able to register the car in the many clubs dedicated to the Mustang BOSS 302. (4) I have a minor reserve to cover my cost. I reserve the right to end the auction early. It is not my style to do so however if someone wants to pay something crazy go ahead and make an offer. What do you want to pay? . Auction Terms 1.
