Up for sale is a 2000 Acura Integra GSR. I bought this car brand new in April 2000 form Heart Acura in Wappingers Falls, NY. It was factory serviced through the 50,000 mile warranty. The rest of the maintenance was done by a local shop. Car is and always has been stock, as in the way it came from the factory. I bought a new car and don't get to drive this one as much as I'd like. My plan was to find a JDM or turbo engine and make it a sleeper, just don't have the time or desire to listen to my wife about it. Has GSR blades with some curb rash but they are overall in good shape. Power everything except seats. A/C works great. Tires are around 75%. NYS Inspection good through December 2012. I used to get around 33mpg on the highway with it. I used to drive my truck during the winter and this car would go in the garage to avoid the salt and snow, although it has been out in the snow previously. The antenna is stuck in the up position, just like most older Acura/Hondas. In 2002 I was on my way home from work and a deer ran out into the passenger side. It caused damage to most of the passenger side, which was repaired by a local body shop through my insurance. It does have some nicks and scratches in the paint, please keep in mind this is a 12+ year old car. Please see photos for places where there is obvious (but minor) damage. The most notable place is the nose just below the hood, where people I work with have regularly backed up into it while parking. It appears that someone backed into the back bumper in the mall parking lot also. Other than the minor scratches the only rust spot I could find was on the leading edge of the hood where the paint is cracked. One thing I have noticed is that the car seems to use some oil between changes, probably less than a quart. I've read that it's not uncommon for the GSR engines, and I have not looked into it any further. Chances are if you're reading this, you know something about these cars. If this is a car you're interested in, you could drive it in it's current condition or spend thousands dropping it, and putting a new engine in with an obnoxious exhaust. I'm attempting to be as up front as possible about the condition, but if you're interested your best bet is to come see it in person. The car is for sale locally. Car has a brand new battery as of last week. The old one was getting weak. Miles may be higher as I'm still driving it. Ask any questions prior to bidding. Also has a strip across the top of the windshield. The back window is bubbling and a little wavy. Car owned by a non-smoker.
