I bought this truck in 1994. It had already been painted with little done to the drive train. I put a new engine in it around 1998 and my guess is it has less than 2,000 miles on the new motor. It has not left the island in 10-12 years. It has an aluminum intake, new Edlebrock, headers and 2-into-1 exhaust. I went through the tranny, rear end, and installed a new clutch along with new wheel bearings and brakes. I had always planned to do a complete tear down and haul MX bikes to the vintage races. Now it just sits in the shop, an unfinished project. I drive it around the block every month. This truck needs some body work - it HAS rust (rain gutters, lower section of doors and rear of front quarter panels). It appears that the painters did a low quality prep job. I am not a body man. So, consider it a project and opportunity.
