I am selling my 1965 Mustang Coupe with a 6 cylinder. I have had this car for 12 years and enjoyed it very much. It just needs a new owner who will enjoy it as much as I did but we have two daughters in college and need to downsize. When I bought it, a professional body shop owner personally restored the vehicle from the bottom up, intending to give it to his daughter but she decided that she wanted a car with power steering and air conditioning. He installed new carpet, recovered the seats, installed all new window and door seals, replaced the floor pans, undercoated everything underneath, and changed the color from blue to authentic 1965 Mustang "Poppy Red". He did an outstanding paint job which still looks great. The car runs beautifully and I just repainted the engine, installed new spark plugs, wires, and a distributor this spring. This summer, I spent $1400 to have a local mechanic go over it and fix all the engine and transmission oil leaks, update the brake cylinders, and tune it up. Then I spent $280 to have it professionally detailed. Thus the car looks and runs great! The upholstery is in excellent shape, tires are excellent, and I am including pictures of minor paint chips which there are several on the fenders, doors, and back panel. These could could be touched up. The car is for sale locally so if it sells, I reserve the right to cancel the auction. Please make a nonrefundable $500 deposit to my Paypal account 24 hours after winning this auction. Then either Paypal for the remainder or a Certified check 7 days after the close of the auction. I am willing to help make arraignments to ship the car to you if you want after full payment is made. I could also meet at the Omaha, NE airport with the vehicle.
