Vehicle Detail

I am selling the 1977 Hurst/Olds I bought/saved last month because I really don't have time to start another project. I am a lifetime member of the Hurst/Olds Club and would like another member get it restored. This car was built by Harold Pierson along with Owen Miller, both were members of the Hurst/Olds Club and this car is the only one that the Hurst/Olds Club knows of and recognizes. The Hurst Corporation announced the "do it yourself plan" to make your own '77 H/O after GM decided not to go forward with the 1977 Hurst/Olds. Harold started with a 1977 Cutlass Supreme that was ordered with a: 403cid 4 brl Turbo 350 Sway bars front and back Posi rearend 2:41? Replaced trans bracket with 1974 style to make full dual exhaust. Bucket seats Console with Hurst Dual Gate Blocked out rear opera windows with Hurst inner sail panels Hurst Hatch T Tops Special vinyl roof Special Hurst spoiler 15x7 SSIII Gold wheels Air Conditioning plus other options. It has 89085 miles and I do do know if it is that or a 1 infront of that.?? There is no back window. There is rust in the rear window area on the passenger side that went into the trunk area. The trunk needs a new passenger side trunk floor but not the side. The outside on that quarter panel has some rust by the wheel well. I have purchased an original sheet metal piece for that area. This is the worst of anything else. The hood is bent and needs replaced. This car has been in Arizona all it's life until the guy that bought it moved to Nebraska a year and a half ago. As I said it came from Arizona and the sun has not been nice to the interior. Cracking of the dash, seats and door panels, so they all need replaced. The T Tops seals are cracked also. The car runs and drives but needs the engine rebuilt(smokes some), trans leaks. I believe this came out of a storage facility because it has a salvage title but has no wreckage. I don't know.??? I am in the wrong on the title it states Previously Salvaged not Salvaged. If anybody can tell me the story that would be great. I have some papers that I got from the Hurst/Olds Club that go with the car. I have put a picture of a page of Thunder & Lightning(Hurst/Olds Club Newsletter) talking about this car. IT NEEDS TO BE SAVED!!!!!! Call me (Mike) at my shop 402-564-8141 9 - 6 central time. $500.00 deposit is due within 48 hours. The car is in Columbus Nebraska 68601. If you want to be a Hurst/Olds Club member just email me and I can get you the information. GREAT CLUB!!!!!!
