Vehicle Detail

1990 Toyota 4 Runner Has 31" BF Goodrich Tires, purchased 6/06. Only used during the winter in a small town so tires are still like new. There is no cracking or weathering at all. Also has K&N filter kit. Has towing package with 2" receiver. Has power windows (sometimes one gets stuck, may be a bad switch), power door locks that all work great. A/C also works great but I didn't use it very much. Heat works, but does not get very hot. Possibly the heater core. The 4 wheel drive has always worked great, never had a problem. The speedometer cable needs to be replaced, which I have and will include. The cable cost me $100.00 dollars from Toyota, just haven't put it in. The transmission shifts good except it doesn't go into overdrive all the time. It throws a trans code referring to a speed sensor, this vehicle has two, and a shift solenoid. One sensor is on the transmission and one in the gauge cluster. I was told not having the speedometer cable installed could be causing the problem, it did work fine before the cable broke. The power steering pump developed a leak, so that needs to be replaced. The catalytic converter is pretty worn out, but that's the only part of the exhaust system that is bad. One of the CV shafts does make noise during slow tight turning but that's it. Very disappointing because they were replaced a few years ago and it isn't driven much at all. The last issue is the rear differential, it drives just fine with no binding, but it does make some noise. I was told that an overtightened pinion nut (not by me) might be the cause as it causes the pinion to ride in a different spot on the ring gear. I priced out a few salvage units, $250 for the whole axle, but didn't have the money at the time. Oil was changed recently so still very clean. My reserve is low and reflects the work tis truck needs. See pictures, I have tried to be as accurate as possible Parts replaced: -Water Pump -Timing Belt -CV Shafts -Brake master cylinder and rear brake shoes -Steering relay rod -Idler arm -O2 Sensor -U-joints, rear shaft -Fuel filter and pressure regulator -Starter -Intermediate exhaust pipe, muffler and tail pipe. Vehicle is located in Laramie, WY. Delivery may be available for a fee. If you have any questions, you can reach me at 307-399 1154
