1999 Ford Expedition with under a 125,000 miles In Great Shape!! I am selling the Expedition in the pictures now for the second time, due to non payment. The truck drives and starts good and has power everything (and it all works), 4x4, good heat/air conditioning, good tires, newer brakes, third seat, brand new alternator and battery, tune up this past winter and just got a few minor repairs done this week. It's clean and the body is in good shape (has rust on the underside of the doors), no major scratches or dents. It will make a good daily driver or a Great first car as it is big and safe! It has been a good truck to us, however, we just bought a new car and no longer need it and it has just been sitting there. It starts and runs fine, it is in good shape overall, but does have issues due to it's age. Like burns/leaks oil (not to bad, mainly on the highway), drivers seat has a rip in the seam, leaks window washer fluid, the mileage gauge backlight (digital) sometimes is bright and sometime is off (it still tracks the mileage you just can't read it until it backlight turns back on). I just got a few issues fixed on it this week, so it could be sold in good running condition. It needed a sensor, was having battery cable issues and the check engine light which was due to the bad sensor, have now been fixed. Thus the higher starting price over the first auction. Please keep in mind you are looking at a 13 year old truck, it is not new. I am the second owner (had 35,615 miles on it) and I have owned it for the past 10 years. It has been well taken care of and has very low miles (about 8,000 mile a year on average since I have owned it) and is in great shape for it's age. It has been used as a family truck, used mainly in short trips, soccer games, and back and forth to my wifes work. Never towed trailers, never plowed. It recieved a 79 on Autocheck which is "Above range vs. similar 1999 SUV - Large". I have a clear title in hand, this truck is now ready to go and needs a home. I have describe the truck to the best of my ability. I however am not an expert, but am willing to let you have the truck looked at by one of your choosing (at your cost).
