This rare beauty turns heads and gets 'thumbs up' everywhere she goes. Not a show car, but runs great at 65 mph on the highway or in traffic. Starts immediately, goes fast and sounds like a hot rod with the 327 under the hood. Disk brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, big tires, leather buckets in front, bench in the rear, very spacious interior. Professional mechanic did a first class installation of the engine, drive train and suspension system. Very little body rust, some scale rust on the frame and a few small bubbles under the paint at the bottom of the doors. Floors, fenders, roof and body are solid and no rust through is apparent anywhere. Front nose is metal that has been fabricated into a tilt nose for engine and front end access. Tail gate glass opens fine for access but bottom half is sealed to create a custom storage box behind the rear seat. Axles are CJ jeep in origin (I have been told) and there is a 2 inch lift on the vehicle. Sway bars, stabilizers and large off road struts for tight suspension. The wagon drives straight and easy and could be a daily driver. No dents or dings but there are a number of paint cracks and some signs of minor bondo repairs here and there. Valve covers are rusty and two of the many gauges don't work. Overall great mechanical shape and very good body. This hot rod Willys is a lot of fun to drive! Low Reserve for a lot of Cool Car!
