When I purchased this van from my Mother I had to bang on the dash above the steering wheel one time in order for it to turn over.I parked it last October (10/11) & I have not started it since. I have spoke to a couple mechanics about it & they tell me that from my description it sounds like it needs a new starter or silinoid. I had the starter removed & I took it to Auto Zone so they could test it & it did not work. I am assuming that since I have waited so long that it needs a new battery by now as well. The starter is priced at $80 at Auto Zone & a battery is about $45 at Wal Mart. This van rides very smooth! It is a very comfortable ride as driver or any of the passenger seats. It is very roomy/spacious throughout the van. It has the two front bucket seats (electric), the second row is also bucket seats which all have arm rest & the third row is a full seat which will buckle three passengers. The third row is easily removable for lots of shopping or maybe even for tools. The third seat is not heavy at all. I am a 31 year old woman with Fibromyalgia & I have absolutely No problem removing the seat or even putting it back in when I was done. The van comfortably seats seven occupants. The interior is all a light blue soft cloth with grey carpeting. It has a lot of cubby holes & compartments for quick & easy storage for the driver. I took it in about a month before I parked it & paid for a basic tune up so the oil & filters have been changed. The odometer is digital so without me installing a new battery I do not know the exact mileage but my Mother says it is a little over 200K miles (mostly highway miles). I have a clear blue title in hand. NO LIENS OF ANY KIND. I had every intention of keeping this van due to the comfort, size & fuel efficientcy but due to my illness & current doctor bills I have to sell it. This van would make a Wonderful everyday driver for a Family or it could even be used as a work van if needed. It will not take much to put this baby back on the road. My loss is your gain! I do apologize for the not so pretty pictures but I guess you can see it at it's worse so to say. Now that it is cooling off I was hoping to give it a bath & detail the inside. The van is parked at my mothers house which is twenty miles away. The liner on the ceiling of the van is coming off so if I do not get to it before someone purchases it, then it will need to be put back up with adhesive. Any questions please feel free to email me.
