1971 DATSUN 240Z HLS3031772 This vehicle was made in 5/71 and is a California blue plate car. It was originally purchased from Balboa Motors in Chula Vista, CA. It has an undocumented 86,500 miles and has always been a Southern California car. The car still has the original window sticker, optional features list, original owners manual, radio manual, and consumer informational brochure. All of this information is from the time of original purchase. I personally purchased the vehicle on 10/20/2011 from the second owner who only owned the car for two months. The original owner was local to San Diego and owned the car for 40 years. HLS3031772 is a fully matching numbers car and still has all of the original features, including but not limited to; E31 high compression head, E46 intake, and 4 screw roundtop carbs. Since owning the vehicle I have done various things to bring it to a restored show/driver condition vehicle. Below is a breakdown to what has been done and some of the other features of the car.
