I am a licensed and bonded dealer located approx. 35 minutes West of Baton Rouge, La. Here we go: This is a 1997 Ford F250 Powerstroke Diesel quad cab truck. It is equipped with a strong 7.3L engine and automatic transmission. The truck has 184,xxx miles. It runs and drives well. It cranks on the first try every try. It does not smoke. The glow plugs are fine, and it will crank any time of day. The exterior is in work truck shape. I have tried to take photos of most everything on the truck. It has dents and dings throughout. Like most of these older Fords, you have to shut the door like you mean it. The interior is in somewhat the same condition. The driver's seat edge has a hole from getting in and out. The A/C blows ice cold. The C/D player works. The lights, horn, wipers, signals, etc. work. The truck fires right up and drives out smoothly. I have put some mileage on it, and it's got good power.It has a current Louisiana inspection good through 3/2013. The flaws are as follows: The driver's side vent window has been replaced with plexi-glass, and there is some wind noise while driving. The driver's front tire has a plug in it and leaks down some. The truck has a some vibration, and while I'm not a mechanic, I have recieved two different opinions. One guy has told me it has a broken motor mount, and one has said it has a broken transmission mount. Either way, it does vibrate some from something. The windshield is cracked.
