1962 jensen p1800 very clean,car runs strong with pdi motor,shifts great,overdrive works as it should,clean body with dent on passenger door,very little rust for a 50 year old car, car had been in storage for six years,I took it to my mechanic he tuned it up,drained old fuel,cleaned carbs,checked and lubed brakes,fixed clutch to work properly.Key was broken off in ignition so I had him re-key all.this cost me around 1500 dollars,he did tell me there was a hole in the muffler and carbs should be re-built.the windshield is cracked but other glass is good,tires are a matched set with 90% tread(almost new).the car would make a fine example to restore or drive as is.color is correct red (CODE 70)but paint is peeling and faded.the interior is original but drivers seat is torn.all gauges are there but oil pressure and after market temp gauge are the only ones that work properly.if you are reading this you know these are rare,only 6000 built and this is #2543.ask questions,if you have less then 5 pos.feedback you will need to contact me before bidding or your bid will be cancelled.500 dollar deposit due within 3 days of auction end via paypal,remainder due within 10 days unless other arangements have been made with me.I will sign over the title when all funds have cleared.buyer will be responsible for all shipping or pick up of vehicle.reserve will not be revealed.car is for sale local so I do have the right to cancell auction early.Vehicle is sold as-is.I am in to classic motorcycles now so I would be interested in a trade for a bike or bikes of equal value.On Oct-08-12 at 19:59:42 PDT, seller added the following information: yes it is a good running car (55 psi oil pressure,160 temp).yes it has original factory radio.On Oct-09-12 at 21:40:05 PDT, seller added the following information: mileage is 161,453 not 61k.
