Bought two years ago as a fixer-upper. Have put more than the asking price into the vehicle. New serpentine belt, idler, water pump, steering gear box, linkage arm, timing belt, complete brake job, tune up, all fluids replaced, Michelin Harmony tires on used set of American Racing mags, differential cover replaced, new muffler on older exhaust system, Sony an/fm/cd player with usb inputm new fuel and air filters. Not done yet. Shocks, replace windshiels(quoted 157.00 locally), driver's rear view mirror is cracked. Would make an excellent winter vehicle.The restoration project ended when we decided to upgrade the family car and my son bought our old Saab. This truck is not perfect, but close enough for a handy wrencher to bring back to full operating condition. Note- current Kelley Blue Book Private Party Value for the Ranger in fair condition is $2585.00 This is a truck that still needs a couple of items, but could certainly make it through the winter in it's current condition.
