Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 1968 MGB GT Project Car with extra parts 1.8L 4cyl Manual 67,000 milesClear Title, Not running On October 27, 1993 my husband purchased a 1973 MGB and a 1968 MGB GT. His plan was to restore them for our son and him to drive. He purchased other classic cars with the intention of restoring them in his retirement, but passed away and was unable to accomplish it. As I have no knowledge of how or what should be done, instead I hope someone will choose to do what he started to do and get one or both of them running and enjoy them. He always wanted to run the MG in the Black Hills or in the mountains of Colorado. The 1968 MBG GT comes with a lot of parts that where purchased with the car so we are listing them with the car they came with. No swapping or trading between the car listings. The best option for an ambitious/industrious person is to purchase them both and fix them both up. A person could sell one for profit or use the parts needed and sell the remaining parts to other MG enthusiasts. Any way you decide these lots have a lot of potential that I just don’t have time or knowledge to pursue. All parts in pictures come with the car they are listed with: (general list of what is in each photo) Parts picture #1. 1. Various interior panels and hardware 2. Heater housing and extra blowers 3. Air Cleaners, Rack and pinion, Extra clutches 4. Radiator housing and windshield wiper motors Parts picture #2 1. Extra carburetor, carburetor base, Voltage regulators 2. 12v coils, generators, disc brakes, Timing chain 3. Extra interior and exterior parts 4. Extra gauges and switches Parts picture #3 1. Extra knockoff wheel, extra engine 2. Drum brakes, steering column and wheel 3. Extra drivers door and grill Parts picture #4 1. Replex Camber Caster Gauge 2. Miscellaneous parts There is no driver's side rear window. The floor pans are pictured. There is no reserve. We have two separate listings. The MGB GT is not in good as shape but both of them have loads of extra used parts listed in that auction. Both cars and parts are sold as is. Please look at all pictures carefully and ask all questions before purchasing. 1973 MGB Convertible listing number = 261109436010 There is NO RESERVE. Cash only.
