This is a very nice original survivor 1959 Fairlane galaxie 500 4 door sedan, car is 85-90 percent original paint, all of the Geranium is original and is in good shape, the white on top of trunk and passenger door have been repainted and need redone again, the car is very solid including all of trunk,and floors, maybe minor rust in some spots but is not being found anywhere, the drive train including Engine,transmisssion and brakes have all been rebuilt with just under 5000 miles on them, rear end was not rebuilt but thouroghly inspected and found to be in good condition. Engine and heads were completely rebuilt, the brake system is all new, all 4 wheel cylinders,master cylinder, shoes etc., the transmisssion was completely rebuilt as well, the steering Box,Pump & rams were rebuilt or replaced, the car runs great and steers and stops excellent, the tires are new with less than 2000 miles on them, the interior is all original upholtery with just the piping being repaired and the top of the front seat being replaced, it is neer mint, the dash has been repainted professionally as well as the fire wall, the pass. side front stainless trim is damaged but comes with straight replacement parts. this is a very clean original car. the car is sold as is and as described, please email any questions before bidding, buyer is reaponsible for all shipping,costs and arrangements, I will help any way I can.On Oct-08-12 at 15:04:11 PDT, seller added the following information: Ive had a few questions on things working and not working, the wiper do work and the wiper motor was taken apart and the brushes checked and motor cleaned, the radio is am and works great, the bottom of the car was stripped and cleaned and re undercoated while car was being rebuilt, the block is not origional as it was cracked (frozen?) when car was purchased. milage is unknown for certain as ebay requires you to enter an mileage amount. but car has less than 5000 miles on it since restored
