This is a great-looking car that runs and drives beautifully. It is one of the rare examples with an original steel roof. The roof is lightweight and removable, so it's a true convertible for topless driving in the summer. One of the later models with the 1500 cc engine, it has plenty of power. It's in good mechanical condition, and starts and runs well. The car is a real kick to drive, especially on windy roads since it has a very short turning radius. It has aftermarket seats which are very comfortable, and the paint is in good condition, as are the bumpers. I've been through every inch of the car, and fixed whatever needed fixing mechanically. I've recently replaced the tires, brakes, clutch, master and slave cylinders, and rebuilt the carburetor. I also went through the emission system and replaced the catalytic converter and rebuilt the EGR valve. I adjusted the valves, replaced various electrical components, wiring, and most of the switches. I replaced the mechanical fan with an electric fan, and replaced all the belts and hoses. Here are the car's imperfections: The paint has two areas of surface rust. I have taken close-up pictures of them so you can see exactly what they look like. One is on the seam of the roof, the other on the top of the trunk. The speedometer does not work. I've not put in a radio. The headliner is missing in places, and the seats are ragged in spots so I've covered them with seat covers. I've replaced some of the interior panels like the door panels; the carpets are old but serviceable. All in all, this is a mechanically sound and attractive car that you can drive and enjoy without doing any more work to it; you also have the option of further restoring it.
