Vehicle Detail

You are viewing a gorgeous, very low-mileage, always unmarked, absolutely loaded and beautiful 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. Recently out of service from United States Federal Government, this was a southern car, used in the state of Virginia, with only 61,848 actual, documented miles on it. This is a beautiful example of a very rare, hard to find car in a very rare and very desirable color. This is a factory-finished Dark Blue Pearl Metallic car, one of the hardest, and most rare colors to find...and the one everyone wants. This is one of the most stellar units I have had the pleasure of offering. Yes, it is that nice. In addition, this is the most loaded Crown Victoria I have found...it was ordered with far more options than any other I have ever seen. I would assume it was special ordered for a department head, or supervisor. There are only 79 engine idle hours on this vehicle!!! That is an amazingly low number, as most you will find have upward of 3000 and some as many as 7500 or more. This unit is absolutely loaded with options. It is very seldom that you see a Police Interceptor that was ordered with this many items. Aside from being a Police Interceptor, this car was also ordered with the coveted "Street Appearance Package", power driver's seat, power adjustable pedals, cruise control, factory AM/FM/Cassette Stereo, a 3.27 Traction Lock (limited-slip) rear axle (code X5) WITH traction control as well (it is very hard to find both of these options ordered together), velour cloth front and rear seating, full factory carpeting and side-impact airbags. These items, of course, are just the beginning of the list of equipment on this car. In my years of buying and selling police vehicles, I have had very few cars that come close to the condition of these units, they are extremely well maintained, actually over-maintained, and typically need no repairs. This was a one-driver car, assigned to one agent throughout the entire life of the car. For those of you who know, that makes all of the difference in the world when it comes to how the cars are maintained and treated. It has NEVER been smoked in, and has virtually zero wear. This, coupled with the low mileage and unbelievably low idle hours make this car about as close to new as you will find. It is factory finished in Dark Blue Pearl Clearcoat Metallic with Dark Charcoal (Black) interior. As stated before, it is loaded with options, other options include; full factory deluxe wheelcovers, factory auxilliary police dome lamp, power trunk release, tilt wheel, power mirrors, power windows, power locks and keyless entry with a security system that includes two remotes, along with two keys. With only 61,848 actual, original miles on it, the interior shows nearly zero wear. It has been extremely well-maintained and it runs, drives and handles as close to new as you will ever find. It has never been abused and it looks very nice. All of the factory manuals are included with the vehicle, and are in place in the glove box. The trunk compartment is extremely clean, and the original, full size spare tire is in place and in excellent condition. This unit has one, small, trunk mounted antenna...other than that, there are zero holes from equipment in the body. This car still smells new inside and has never been smoked in. This unit is also equipped with, of course, the full "Police Interceptor" package which includes the 4.6-liter H.O. engine, 4-speed overdrive heavy-duty transmission, 3.27 "Traction Lock" limited-slip rear axle, noise suppression bond straps, lateral bow (roof) reinforcement, Good Year Eagle RS-A 235-55-17 police-spec, ultra-high performance radials that are mounted on the factory, heavy-duty, 17" vented police wheels with full, factory wheel covers, stainless-steel dual exhaust with factory crossover pipe, police-only lightweight balanced aluminum driveshaft, special police-spec heavy-duty frame, 4-wheel disc brakes, severe-duty suspension, heavy-duty cooling, certified 140-mph speedometer, tachometer and much, much more. For those of you who know Crown Victorias, you are probably already aware that the 2004 and newer models are the ones to have. From 2006 forward the cars remained virtually identical, with no major changes made except for the addition of a new gauge cluster with factory tachometer and 17" wheels and tires. All Crown Victorias produced from 2004-onward utilized the new, improved, 250-horsepower 4.6 liter V8 engine and are the fastest Crown Victorias produced due to many changes that were made, mainly in the intake system. Previously, the Police Interceptor produced 239 horsepower, but the 2004-newer Police Interceptor increased that number to 250 horsepower due to the addition of a new "Marauder" air intake setup. This included a new airbox that resembles the Mercury Marauder airbox (raised airbox lid, deeper bottom), with a new, larger, integrated 80 mm (3.1 in) mass airflow (MAF) sensor that is part of the airbox lid. This allows for much more precise flow calibration and reduces the chances of air leakage. The P71 zip tube (the flexible rubber hose between the throttle body and MAF outlet) is also used to reduce NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) as well as transfer air from the airbox to the throttle body with minimal flow resistance. Crown Victorias like this one are becoming nearly extinct, so here's your opportunity if you've been looking for a gorgeous one in a rare and desirable color combination with ultra-low idle hours and mileage. This unit is beautiful inside and out and is extremely clean under the hood as well...the engine compartment is very nice (please see the pictures). I do not slather motors with Armor All to make them appear nicer, or newer, than they are. The picture of this engine compartment is exactly as it was when the car was purchased...extremely clean. These are the Crown Victorias afficianados lust after, and this is an unmolested example. It is very responsive, smooth-shifting and, of course, very fast. This is a factory, all Dark Blue Pearl Metallic car, not a re-painted color change like you will see for sale elsewhere. There has been no prior paintwork or repaired damage on this vehicle. The body panels are all original, as is the paint. This unit is in excellent overall condition, has been very well-maintained and has little of the normal wear and tear you would expect to find on a used police vehicle. This vehicle, as most used police vehicles do, will have imperfections...this typically includes; small holes in the interior panels from equipment being mounted, holes in the decklid from antennas, minor scratches, chips, nicks, dings, etc....that being said, this car has no known mechanical defects and it runs and drives excellent. Please, keep in mind, we strive to find the nicest used vehicles possible, but they are still used vehicles. This is a very nice driving, tight unit...not a beat-up police car. It has never been used for any type of normal police or patrol work. DON'T PASS THIS ONE UP, 2006 MODELS ARE VERY, VERY HARD TO FIND AND I DOUBT YOU WILL SEE ANOTHER FOR SALE IN THE NEAR FUTURE IN THIS COLOR, WITH THIS LOW OF MILEAGE AND IDLE HOURS, IF AT ALL, AT NO RESERVE. As with all of our auctions, this is a no reserve sale. This 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor will sell to the high bidder at the end of the auction, please complete all inspections BEFORE bidding...if you win the auction, you own the vehicle. Because of increasing expenses in every regard, we have been forced to raise our fees by $50, this is the first time in ten years that we have done this, so hopefully you will understand. There will be a $175 documentation fee and a $15 title fee added to each sale, these will be the ONLY additional fees you will be responsible for, unless you reside in the state of Ohio, in which case you will need to pay the proper amount of sales tax, based on the current rate for the county in which you reside. Temporary 30-day plate and registration is also available for $18.50. We do not charge any additional fees and there are no hidden charges. Most sellers are charging double this amount currently. I welcome any and all questions you might have prior to bidding on this Crown Victoria. I do reserve the right to end the auction early if the vehicle sells locally prior to the end of auction (please call if you like). Most of my vehicles sell very quickly! I am a law-enforcement officer as well and as such, work long hours so you are free to call me as late in the evening as you like. I can be reached anytime at (614) 893-3857. I will take calls 24/7 up until the end of the auction. Winning bidder agrees to forward a 25% partial payment (unless a lesser amount is agreed upon PRIOR to the end of the auction) at end of auction via direct bank wire transfer or by overnighted cashier's check, money order or certified funds. Balance will be due within seven days of end of auction or at time of pick up or delivery, whichever comes first. I will help in any way possible to arrange transportation. I can store the vehicle for up to 90 days, until pick up can be arranged, as long as it's paid for in full. I may be able to deliver this vehicle personally, depending on your location, at a reduced rate. I have been buying, selling and driving unique, specialty vehicles for over ten years now and take pride in offering only low-mileage vehicles that are not "run of the mill", beat-up cars and trucks. I specialize in the hard to obtain cars, SUV's and trucks, Dodge 5.9 Cummins and Ford 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel trucks, Dodge Charger, Chevrolet Impala and Caprice 9C1 and 9C3 police vehicles, collectible and rare cars, trucks and vans. If there are any questions at all, again, please don't hesitate to call me at (614) 893-3857. I will answer all e-mails as quickly as possible. Thanks and good luck! Because of people who bid and do not contact me or pay, I am being forced to implicate a rule pertaining to low-feedback bidders. ANY BIDDER WHO BIDS, WITH A FEEDBACK OF 5 OR LESS, WILL HAVE THEIR BID RETRACTED IMMEDIATELY unless they contact me first, prior to bidding. I hope everyone understands, and I thank our hundreds of happy customers, but a few bad apples have spoiled the proverbial bunch. Thanks for understanding. Please remember, this is a used government vehicle, and not new, although it is probably in better condition than most you will see. As such, it will have minor flaws consistent with the miles and age of the vehicle, and with government use. That being said, it is in beautiful shape and runs & looks as close to new as you will find. It is not what you would typically expect, or what you will find elsewhere for sale. Please, if you want to come and look at it, do so BEFORE bidding...or call me, as always, at 614-893-3857 or e-mail me and I will answer any questions you may have. Thanks!
