You are looking at a 1989 Honda Interceptor VTR 250, for sale by original owner. This is a re-listing because the previous auction winner never paid or showed up for the bike. With a V-twin two cylinder engine, this 23-year-old low-mileage bike has only logged in 1,322 miles -- great for collectors or a beginner biker. If you're a fan of, or just nostalgic for vintage Japanese bikes, here is another chance to own one. I had it in storage (a covered garage) for 10 years with its battery disconnected, but the bike was running excellent prior to it being in storage. It's had an oil and oil filter change at about 1,000 miles. Visually, it's in great condition but it will probably need a new battery and new fuel to start. (There's still a little bit of fuel in the tank.) I'd also recommend changing other fluids because while it has all original parts, it did sit for a length of time, as I've mentioned. It has a clear title and the original owner's manual. Please email me with specific questions BEFORE you bid. I've tried to convey the details of the bike as accurately as I can with the photos shown but ultimately, the bike is being sold in AS IS condition. Winner of auction must arrange for transport. I can help load it onto your trailer or pickup with a motorcycle ramp. I will need to receive the $500 deposit payment via PayPal promptly within 48 hours at the conclusion of auction. Payment MUST be received in full via PayPal in order for me to hold the bike beyond 7 days. Otherwise I will re-list the bike. I will only accept the balance of payment in cash in person (within the 7 day period) on the day you pick up the bike. There are no exceptions!
