1972 AMC JAVELIN SST This is a sharp looking Javelin SST with a 304 v8 and a 904 automatic transmission with power steering, Vin # A2C797H202276 The car is an original air condition car, it is all there but not working. The second owner bought the car in 1988 and parked it in 1992 in his driveway until about a year ago when I got it, Original California car & has the Blue and Yellow Plates. I was told the mileage is original but I cant prove it. The car started out Canary Yellow & now is Tangerine Twist with Black Rally Stripes (painted) The car starts right up and shifts fine, could possibly use valve guide seals sometime in the future & the alternator is weak . When it was painted all the jams and under the hood and trunk were painted as well, The engine was cleaned and painted up not rebuilt. The car has new brakes all the way around. There are no leaks & the fluids have been changed. The car has 15 inch mag wheels with new center caps and lugs. The interior is all complete and in good condition, There was an aftermarket stereo put in at some time but they did not cut the dash to do so :) the seats have some wear on them so I installed matching front and rear seat covers & floor mats. Front window has a small star chip , All the glass is good, windows roll up and down with no issues. The car also has a rear louver on the back window. This Javelin is a real good looking car and a real head turner. Also have the Original Hub Caps that go with the car. This is a fun and solid car but as well it is 40 yrs old. All the electrical works but the horn. Please ask all questions before bidding & you are more than welcome to see it before bidding.
