Vehicle Detail

-1927 Ford Model T Roadster -Up for auction is this Ford modified roadster, built by the Throttlers of Salt Lake City Car Club. This Flathead powered hot rod runs and drives great. This car has been all over Utah, and has been driven to Vegas and Idaho multiple times. The car has also been in many magazines over the years, including Hod Rod magazine, Ol' Skool Rodz, Car Kulture Deluxe, and many others. This '27 Roadster is on a Model-A frame that has been Z'd. It has a '53 Ford V8 Flathead, with adjustable lifters, edelbrock intake with dual Holley 94 carbs. The drivetrain is a top shift Ford 3 speed manual trans, with Zephyr gears, that is hooked to a shortened torque tube and rear end from a '40 Ford. The front is a suicide setup with a '40 ford axle, spindles and brakes. The front wheels are 16x4" Ford steelies wrapped in Firestone dirt track tires, the rears are 16x5.5" Ford steelies wrapped in Firestone 7.00x16" tires. The grill shell is from a Model-A truck, the steering wheel is from a military truck, the gas tank and seats have been hand built. The windshield on this car is one of a kind, and you will never see one on any other car. The glass came from a two piece windshield from a helicopter and is a half inch thick. The glass is mounted to a custom stainless steel windshield frame that was hand built by one of the club members. The battery is mounted in a old military ammo box in front of the passenger. The oil pressure and temp gauges are brand new Stewart-Warner gauges. -The body and grille shell are in decent shape and have not been body worked, they have some rust holes, dents, and a couple of bullet holes. The car has a World War II fighter theme so the body was left alone for that reason. The car was repainted olive drab a little over a year ago. The tires are in good shape, no cracks or gouges and plenty of tread left. The engine runs strong, and does not smoke or leak oil. -I have owned this car for a couple of years, and it has been a blast bombing around town and going to car shows. This car is a serious attention getter, so bid on it today if you want to own this awesome Traditional Hot Rod. I'm selling this car because it is time to move on to the next car and I need the room to build it. This car is sold AS-IS. Clear Utah title in hand, the car is titled as a 1940 Ford. If you have any questions ask before bidding. This car is what it is, a hot rod built with vintage car parts, it will need routine maintenance and minor adjustments. $1000.00 deposit within 2 days of auction end, No refunds. Local pickup or buyer is responsible for shipping and all arrangements and costs associated with shipping. No bogus over-payment schemes or scam attempts please.
