You are looking at a original 1971 BMW R75/5. This BMW was a true "Barn Find' that I found sitting since 1985. The numbers on the frame, engine, and vin plate match. There is a clear FL title in my name. Even after sitting for so long the brakes work, trans works, and carbs are not gummed up. She even has the original tire pump underneath the seat. A perfect project for the next restoration or cafe project. The tank does need cleaned and engine is locked up. I did pour penetrating oil in the engine and after a few days the engine did move a little, but that was it. Also the electric starter wanted to work. Also included in the auction if the buyer wants them and wants to pay for shipping a BMW R series rim and forks. Please look at all of the pictures to see how great she still looks but to also see the great patina and wear that has occurred over the years. I am selling this one at a NO RESERVE starting at one dollar, so don't miss out. Bike must be picked up in Tampa FL. She can sit here for as long as you need, but the bike will still have to be paid for in full within the 7 days.
