Sadly, we're selling our 1984 Mercedes-Benz 300D.  This is an amazing vehicle.  It has spent all of its life in California.  Garaged when not in use.  The engine sounds amazing.  It has a TON of power with the help of the turbo.  The automatic transmission shifts smoothly.  It was replaced a few years ago, and has also had regular maintenance.  Our 300D has seen service on time, and needed repairs always taken care of right away.  We have all the service records dating back to '93 when it was purchased from the original owner.  It is all original with minimal wear and tear.  Never been in any accidents.  Never smoked in, no pets, no stories.  All the electronics are in perfect working order.  The sunroof opens and closes perfect.  The windows all have good rubber seals, no leaks and no excess noise.  The rubber gaskets and trim pieces have always been replaced where they've shown wear.  The interior is in great shape, free of any rips or tears.  The carpet is soft and clean.  All the moldings and rest of the trim look perfect.  The front seats were re-stuffed several years ago, and still feel like new.  All the gages work properly with exception to the RPMs(mechanic thinks it is just loose contact behind instrument cluster).  We have not had anyone take it out since it has never bothered us.  The cruise control works perfect, resume, slow and off all respond right away as they should.  All the interior lights work.  The glovebox opens and closes perfect, and is very clean.   The dash is original with 2 tiny cracks that are visible in the pictures.  The wood has a few hairline cracks, but is not split. All the seat levers and positions work perfect.  The antennae works, radio works, and speakers all sound clear and powerful.  The rear seats have hardly been sat in.  The headliner looks great.  There are no major interior blemishes or defects.  The exterior looks outstanding.  It has always received regular handwash and wax, and it certainly shows!  All the trim pieces look wonderful.  The chrome bumpers look fantastic.  The rear bumper has two little blemishes that are towards the bottom, they do not reveal themselves easily.  The right rear wheel well got bumped several years ago, and some touch-up paint was applied, you can see this area in pictures.  The rest of the exterior is great, body is strait, all the lines are beautiful.  Every panel is glossy and is damage free.  There are a few tiny door dings, which a paintless dent repair tech can easily remove.  You have to seek these tiny dings out, they're common from being on the road for 28+ years!   We get compliments non-stop when this car is out in town.  Other people's 300d's are never as nice & clean.  The odometer is true at just over 214k miles.  Mostly highway driven with no expense spared on upkeep.  We have a 'bible' of records to go with the title and keys.  In the past month, I've replaced rear seal, inner and outer tie rods, alignment after I asked the mechanic for a pre-sale inspection.  The A/C was retrofitted to r134 and works great.  Cold A/C and also working heater.  There is no rust on this car.  The handling and suspension is great, there are no noises, no wobbles or problems.  I know you will be thrilled to own this vehicle, just as we are.  I would be willing to pick-up at San Francisco Intl Airport if you'd care to fly in and drive home!  Our 300D will take you anywhere you'd like to go!   If you have any questions, feel free to call anytime at 707-354-0209.  I do have a low reserve set, please bid to win!  Thanks!
