Vehicle Detail

Rare Find!! 1977 El Camino SS , Automatic,350 V8 motor with new spark plug wires, new high volume oil pump, RV higher torque cam, has headers. Chrome water pump . Recent front end alignment and all new u joints and new bushings. New windshield, all 4 tires are in very good condition . Please call James 915-235-9396 me to arrange to see and drive it this weekend. The car has a clear title and I have it in hand. The El Camino has factory air but the stock air compressor does not turn over. I have another one that I will include with the car. I also have all the trim pieces that go around the bed of the truck but do not have the clips to install them, all theses pieces will come with the car. The copper paint is very faded, there is a dent by on the passenger door that is about the size of my hand and is about 1/2 to 3/4 inch deep. There is a small dent/ scrape under the gas lid and a small rust spot on the driver side rear wheel about the size of a 50 cent piece. On the interior the driver door has a 5 1/2 speaker hole cut out in the interior panel . The car has a small metal patch behind the rear seat, under the carpet where the original owner patched a small area about 6 inches square. I used to drive the El Camino about 100 miles every day to my construction job just outside of White Sands NM but the gas was getting to be expensive so I purchased a 2005 Toyota Corrola and parked the El Camino. I then took off the factory Quadra Jet carb and a friend at Autozone did a complete carb rebuild and he reinstalled it but the choke and air/ fuel mixture will need to be fine tuned. The car takes about 2 minutes to warm up then it runs strong. The original owner lived about 40 miles away in Las Cruces NM and he had older El Camino with a 454 but would not sell that one so I purchased this one. The El Camino has been a southwest car all it's life. My recent unemployment has caused me to put this car up for sale as bills need to be paid. I will assist the buyer if he wants to have the car shipped. I can drive it to any of the many large trucking companies in the surrounding area and have them loaded up for you if you decide to use Pay Pal. Please no Zero feed back bidders without contacting me first. My feed back is 100 percent, because I do my best to be honest and communicate quickly with all those I deal with I have many years on Ebay. I hate to sell this El Camino because I have already spent over 2000 mechanical items and now my situation in life has forced me to sell it. This El Camino will only go up in value and price in the years to follow. Good Luck in your bidding.
