Up For Sale 1995 AM General HMMWV look alike. This started as a 1995, 2 door hard top HUMMER H1 that is being converted to a Military HMMWV M998 look alike. This is being sold as a project but most all of the work has been done. I have to let it go due to a back injury. I have collected and installed a lot of new parts for this vehicle. The vehicle presently will not start due to worn teeth on the flex plate/ flywheel. When I purchased the vehicle it started and drove around fine. It has a 6.5 diesel NA. I have started the engine and warmed it up occasionally over the past 3 years I have owned it. I had problems with the starter drive wearing and recently found that the Flex plate teeth were excessively worn. I have a new flex plate/ flywheel for it and a couple of new starter drives. The transmission will have to be slide back to install the new flywheel. Again is has a good strong running engine but I can’t start it with out the new flywheel installed so it is being sold as is. I have all of the parts to rebuild the suspension. The rear suspension has had all the bushings, Radius arms, ball joints, springs, shocks, geared hub seals, nuts and bolts, brake rotors replaced. It has 2 new half shafts on the rear. The front end suspension still needs to be completed but a lot of the new parts come with the sale. It comes with has a new complete woodland camo 4 man soft top, with C pillar , 4 new soft doors, and all hardware. It has a like new exhaust system to be installed. It has a HMMWV Dash to be installed to complete the look. It has a pioneer rack to be installed. A radio rack and West Coast mirrors have been installed. I have data plates to be installed to complete the look. It also comes with 4 extra wheels and tires. All of the 8 wheels on and off the vehicle have run flats in them. It has a new military windshield with the thick military glass in it. It has new front and rear military lights, markers, and reflectors, some of the wires still need hooking up. It also has a brand new set of Napa Batteries installed with a floating charger. It has new 3 point seat belts with b pillar cushions. It has the rear 3 point belts that need to be installed. It has 4 new high back seats installed. The air conditioning evaporator assy and condenser assy are on it and it comes with a brand new compressor to be installed. I have a clear Texas title ready to transfer. The vehicle is located in Houston, Texas. Remember this vehicle have to be towed. A roll back wrecker can move it fine. The buyer is responsible for any costs in removal or shipping. A $200 non-refundable Pay Pal deposit is due upon action close. The balance payment is due within 7 days of auction close.
