Up for sale is a 2000 Saturn Ls2. The vehicle is sold as is. It was making a ticking sound and i read many forums and watched many videos that told me this was the tensioner pully on the timing belt. So I bought a $280 dollar timing kit that came with 2 idler pullies, 1 tensioner pully, and a new belt. Had them installed and then started up the motor to see if it was fixed. It did not work and the mechanic told me it was probably the cam bearing but he wasn't really sure, so I took off the new timing kit and got it refunded. The car still sits how I left it that day. All the parts that were took off to change this are sitting inside the car on the passenger floorboard, including old timing kit, serpentine belt and pullies, motor mounts, and air system. Everything electronic in the car still runs good and transmission and everything ran fine on the car it just had an obnoxious loud tick to it, not a knock like a rod. That is why I am selling this car as is though because it has been sitting for 6 months now without anybody working on it, so it needs to be out of the way.
