This is our 1966 Pontiac LeMans Convertible with a rare OHC SPRINT 6 Option. It is a very nice older restoration that is a weekend driver but is show worthy. The Sprint 6 is a very rare package and most were swapped over to V8 engines. The Sprint 6 came with stiffer suspension that included bigger sway bars and shocks, a more powerful inline 6 engine that had a bigger cam, 4 barrel carb and a 2 piece exhaust header, body stripes that ran the length of the car and special OHC Sprint 6 emblems. I have the Original numbers matching engine and transmission that are not installed. For better fuel economy and to avoid putting miles on the factory drive train, I had a period correct 4 Speed transmission with a HURST SHIFTER and a period correct OHC inline 6 engine with a 2 barrel carb installed when I had the car restored (original engine and trans included). The car has brand new brakes including Shoes, Drums, Wheel Cylinders and Break Lines. The power steering pump, box and all steering components are only a few years old. The tires are almost new with maybe 8k miles and at that time the wheels are painted a gloss black and hubcaps were also painted and buffed out. The car rides, handles and stops like it came from the factory. The paint is a respray that is really nice but is not a SHOW paint and does have a few very small chips, but it is a very shiny, dent free with only one sign of rust on the bottom corner of passenger door. The floors, trunk and rest of body are rust free which makes this a great driver with some new chrome including the rear bumper and trim make it look amazing. The convertible top is brand new along with the pump, everything works as it should with it. The interior is in very nice condition and due to the lighting at the time of pictures looks way better in person. This car is an amazing driver that gets looks and thumbs up every where we take it. It is a very rare, low production numbers car that in mine and many others opinion is worth more then the GTO. I HAVE A LOT MORE PICS OF THE CAR, SOME OF THE RESTORATION AND BEFORE.
