Up for sale is a beautiful example of the most sought after car today.With single-season styling and a unique combination of brakes, engine exhaust, and induction options, the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 was arguably the most desirable Z28 of all. RPO Z28 included the F41 handling suspension with E70 x 15 raised letter tires on seven inch wide rims, quicker steering, and twin rally stripes. Front disc brakes were standard on the Z28, and for the first time, four-wheel discs were offered. As trans-am titles in 1968 and 69 showed, the Z28 was a road-racer first, a street machine second. The exterior is perfect example with the cowl induction hood and rear scoop. These white rally stripes set off the original blue color in a basecoat/clearcoat paint that is very flat and has been wet sanded to almost perfection. There are those minor imperfections that every car has, but nothing that can be seen from 15ft. Tires are 7inch x 15inch rallys with white raised letter radial tires and trim rings. Lots of tread left. Engine is a correct 302 with original snowflake intake, original water pump, fan, pullys, exhaust manifolds. Runs very strong with an unbeleivable sound. The original 850 dz holley carburetor is in the trunk. An edelbrock 650 is installed on the car for cruising. Transmission is the Muncie M-21 that shifts very well. The interior is very clean and in like new condition with new seat covers, carpet and original deluxe door panels. Pull handle on driver door needs to be replaced to be complete. Original console with gauges. Fuel gauge needs work, it registers full continuously. I have owned this car for 4 years and it has always been garaged and never in rain.
