i am listing this car for my father who suffered a stroke and can no longer drive. it is a beautiful 62 convertible with a black top, 4spd hurst shifter, and a matching 327. i will try to describe the car to the best of my abilities to help reduce the volume of emails i receive because as much as i try i cannot keep up; and also so that if you are the winning bidder there are absolutely no surprises the engine was rebuilt around ~96k miles (it is the original engine for the car) and a lot of the engine bay was cleaned up, painted, and is ready for a car show. the car does drive great, it is quite different than a modern car but it attracts much attention. the gas pedal seems to stick slightly if you touch the gas gently but unsticks if you blip the throttle. there is an edelbrock intake on the car, i do not have the original. the interior gauges do not work, the battery gauge works and the speedometer is off by ~10mph. there is a blaupunkt cassette am/fm player. i do not have the original radio. there is an aftermarket temp gauge where the clock was, clock is included but does not work. the door sill plates are missing screws to be fastened down there was some damage to the left front fender during transport that was fixed and repainted. the body shop said it was so easy to blend because the car's paint is original and in great condition. there is a small spider crack near the keyhole for the trunk. there are ss cragar wheels installed, i do not have the original wheels. i do not have a hard top for the car, i do not know if the soft top installed is original or not. if you have any questions email: scsowers@gmail.com
