Offered at no reserve is a vintage 1959 Mercedes-Benz 220 S Ponton sedan.Original rust free California 1959 Mercedes-Benz 220 S No rust original California car with black license plate and has been in Southern California since new sold and it is very important; no rust at all please check the photos for undercarriage. The car was in storage and sitting for over 18 years; the body is solid and straight; all floor panel and fenders are original no rust. Paint looks respectable for 53 year old car with original color (ivory) but it does need a new paint job for be show car. Interior is all there no tear or any damage very nice and clean; the carpets are nice; original headliner on excellent shape as you can see in the photos, owner recently replaced the brake lines, new fuel pump, and break master cylinder .The gas tank been cleaned and serviced. Just recently spend about $2000.00 .Tires are old and need to be changed. Owner doesn’t drive the car anymore as he was moved and doesn’t have space to keep the car so he has to sell the car. Engine runs nice this is a four speed manual transmission car and shifts to all gears, original engine and transmission marching number; car comes with original manuel and service books and 2 sets of keys,all doors close very smoothly as a German quality car insures. Overall, however, the car is in great shape for its age and with a little TLC will be ready for many more years of enjoyment. It is definitely fun to drive and turns a lot of heads!
