NO RESERVE !!!!!Selling my 1978 mg midget. I bought the car three years ago because of the high gas prices. It gets great gas millage 35+. The first summer I drove it frequently. The second and third summer I barely drove it but I start it at least monthly. Its a great little car but I don't try it enough to justify keeping it. BODY: The body and frame very solid. The car does have some dents so additional picture are available upon request. The car was repainted black by the previous owner. It does not appear to have been sprayed with a clear coat. The original color was blue. The floor pans are super solid.INTERIOR: The seats are in fair shape. The top was new also by the previous owner although it was patched (approximately 3") above the passenger side. The carpet was new also from the previous owner. It appears the previous owner was going through a restoration so the radio and speakers are also missing.MECHANICAL: The MG drives and shifts through all four gears smoothly. I had some front end work completed and the car needs an alignment. The front two tires need to be replaced since the car was not aligned. The car is difficult to start when the temperature is below freezing.The mechanical fuel pump was replaced with an electric one.SHIPPING & PAYMENT: A $500 nonrefundable deposit via PayPal is due immediately after completion of the auction.
