Heres what I was told... car came from Minnesota in 1984 to Indianapolis and was involved in an accident in Indy, car was taken to a Mustang shop called Mustang Ranch, the insurance co. paid the owner 4000. and owner decided to take the money and signed car over to the shop. Fast foward 28 years. I found car still sitting at the shop which was closing and getting rid of old cars that were sitting around. when I bought it the front sheet metal was gone along with the front suspension, passenger side door, and rear window busted out. see picture. I put front suspension on to make car a roller, its drum brake, altho car came with power disc brakes, I was going to part it out for another one I have, but just dont really have the time. I had a Marti report done on it and it will be included, The engine is supposed to be original and date codes on block are 8 L 18, which is nov 18th "68, which is probable cause car was built in dec. 68. The marti report says 351 2 barrel, it has a 4barrel carb on it so I dont know if intake has been changed or if engine is not original. althow date code looks good. Car is in rough shape floors, frames are rusted pretty bad, shock towers are a little rough also. the wood grain on dash and glove box is in very good shape, the wood on steering wheel is faded but not cracked. I have a replacement rear window for it that is included, the right side door Is one I had and I put it on and has the glass and hardware in it, both Quarter windows are also there, I only have 3 of the chrome wheels and one is missing the beauty ring. again car is rough but, i have seen a lot worst on here. I do have a clear IN title in my name. I will answer ay Questions possible as long as they arent concerning the reserve amount. car can be had for under 4000. thanks and good luck bidding by the way the speedometer shows 53813. I would bet it is actualyy 153813, judgeing by the way the numbers are staggered. that was a sign that it had rolled over once.
