1995 BEAUTIFUL GLASS TOP CORVETTE WELL MAINTAINED – EXCELLENT BUY This is a beautiful glass top Corvette. It is a highly original automobile, very clean inside, underside and outside. This is a highly tuned automobile with excellent performance. Its overall condition is very good to excellent. HISTORY OF CORVETTE For so long, it was just a designers dream. Today, it represents a dream come true. It all started in 1951 and developed as project EXX-122. The first corvettes mounted a novel fiberglass body atop a Chevrolet wagon chassis that was cut down to a 102-inch wheelbase. Triple carbs, a radical camshaft, high compression heads and a few secret tweaks boosted Chevy’s 235.5 cubic inch six to 150 horsepower. In January 1953, Chevy unveiled its flashy Corvette sports car for all the world to see. It was on stage at General Motors first Motorama show of the year, held at New York City’s Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. An enthusiastic crowd convinced the GM brass to put the 2 seater into production. A mere 300 were built that first year. The buying public had to wait until 1954 to own America’s sports car. From the beginning, Corvettes have always had unmistakable charisma and they inspire excitement like no other motorcar. ALWAYS........... The interior is spotlessly clean. The carpets show no signs of wear including the entrance rails. The original floor mats are also in great shape. The leather is clean, no cracks, scrapes or tears. The seats are comfortable and supportive. The dash is as new. The gauges are correct and function properly. The ash tray and cigarette lighter have never been used. Every part of the interior has been well maintained. Under the hood you will find a spotless engine and engine compartment including the hood underside and all surrounding areas. This is a solid, finely tuned, exact shifting, very quick precision motor car. There are no known mechanical issues of any kind. You will be impressed with its handling ease and direct response. The performance is simply amazing. I do not know what has been done but............0-60 in just 5 seconds. This is a great Corvette. It represents an excellent buying and value opportunity.
