For Sale is my fully restored late 1966 Honda Superhawk. This is an original bike that was in very good shape but went thru a complete restoration to bring it back to showroom condition. This is not like other so called restored bikes on ebay put together with parts from diferent years and spray painted. I have reciepts for over $11,000. for all work done in the past 10 years. Bike was stripped down to bare frame, Powder Coated and painted with Dupont Imron enamel Black # 99u and Silver Dupont Imron #450 40u by a vintage Bike painter. Engine was completely rebuilt using factory parts by Charles Place in S.F. California. Seat was completely restored using a 44 year old factory NOS Upholstery found in old Honda dealership. Frame repainted, new foam and new padding. NOS handlebars, Levers, cables, brakes, battery, retifier, wiring, plug wires, spark plug caps, air filters, intake tubes, bands, rims, gas cap, headlight and bulbs, tailights and bulbs, grips, foot peg rubber, mirrors, speedometer rubber trim ring, rear mud flap, Tank emblems new repos. most nuts and bolts are NOS, rest are restored to new condition.Carbs was cleaned, rebuilt with new air low needles and slides. Tank was vg condition but was cleaned and resealed to new condition. Pictures show bike without kick starter, but is included with bike. Pipes are very good with only a few imperfections. Baffles good. Bike also includes Tool Kit, Handbook, Bill Silvers Resto Guide, Parts Book, Shop Manual (CD and book) and Clymer Handbook. This bike runs great with no problems. I ride it each Sunday and never had a problem. This bike will give you many years of pleasure. Bike has been in several shows and always placed in top 3. Only flaws on bike is some older chrome plating is thin. (fork trim, lower tank and chain adjuster. Reserve is very fair for this bike. Bike is for sale where it is.
