A very slick 1965 tuxedo balck with white cream interior Chevy Impala 2 door coupe or so called hardtop since there is no post. I just recently got this car on consignment and I have inspected the car throughly. Since I am not much of a chevy person and I rarely sell GM vehicles I have taken pictures of all the codes, engine, door, cowl in order to give as much information possible on the vehicle features. This Impala clearly was re painted a shiny black color not to long ago. The paint job is actually decent, not a top notch job but again very decent and looks good on this 2 door whale. The interior was also re done recently in cream white vinyl. The interior is also decent, it has gotten dirty but it would clean up well and the color combo was a good call. This Impala seems to have the (correct meif I am wrong) original 283 small block V8 engine. I have entered the codes stamped on the engine to be sure. The car starts and runs although there is a loud squeeling noise coming from the engine compartment which it is unclear where exactly originates from. I do not think it comes from the block itself but from the engine bay. I any case I have included a link to a video clip with the car in running mode. This is a Nevada car with Nevada plates and title. The car seats on a brand new set of 20 inch chrome Boss wheels and tires with at least 90 tread left. I have inspected the car and found no major rust on the body or bondo although I did see rust on the inner part of the wheel well in the rear. Everything else seems to be pretty solid. This is the right project for the person who is very familiar with Chevy or Impalas in general. The car is a good candidate although does need attention from the right enthusiast. To anyone truly intereested I highly recommend a local inspection or ask specifically where you want pictures to be taken. This Impala is located inside my warehouse in gardena California very close to the LAX Los Angeles international airport. I will update the auction with more info if any are needed. I can upload more pictures on the scrolling bar located above the description and i am pretty prompt or answering any questions. I can be contacted at 323 578 1565 to set up time and inspection day. Any corrections, tips and suggestions are always highly appreciated. I have a clear nevada title on this car so I can assist with out of state or overseas shipping. I have shipped cars overseas throoughout the years and I am located near all the major Long Beach/Los Angeles shipping companies. I ship vehicles worlwide. Local inspection is very welcome. email me to set up an appointment or if you have any specific questions. Even though I do ship cars worldwide I cannot give a quote on shipping charges nationally or internationally. I can suggest a few shipping companies I have worked with in the past although I am not affiliated with any of them. California Shipping www.calship.com (talk to Brita) Rinkens Shipping www.rinkens.com (Talk to Joey) Schumacher Cargo Logistics www.schumachercargo.com THE CAR MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 14 DAYS FROM THE END OF THE AUCTION This car must be picked within 14 from the end of the auction even if it's been paid in full. If the winner needs a little more time I would grant that although If not picked up by the time requested I'd have to charge $25 per week storage fee the following week after the 14 days grace period. This is primarily to encourage the buyer to have the car picked up as soon as possible or I would end up with my entire lot packed with vehicles. I know it sounds a bit harsh though I hope it makes a point. On Sep-20-12 at 22:01:06 PDT, seller added the following information: Here is a video of this Impala in running mode. Please note the squeeling noise coming from the bay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNp5tj-zaOY&feature=youtu.beOn Sep-27-12 at 10:34:39 PDT, seller added the following information: IMPORTANT UPDATE: We started the car this morning the the engine knocking got louder and louder. We suspect and we are now certain that this Impala needs an engine rebuilt. I am including a Goodwrench Chevy 350 in the auction that was in good running order when pulled. I am including pictures of the 350 engine on the scrolling banner above the description. For any additional questions and concerns I can be reached at 323 578 1565 Giuliano
