1950 chevy 3600,I bought this truck from the original owners daughter and son-in-law. He removed the original 216 due to blowing it up and replaced it with a 235 out of a 1954. I do know if it was a manual or auto that it came from. When they installed the engine which came out of a running car at the time they installed new exhaust in 2006. In 2009 had new tires and brakes put on the truck. The truck has always been garaged. In 2011 I installed a new rebuilt starter with high torque coils to help the 6 volt turn over along with the biggest 6 volt battery i could fit in the battery holder. I also installed a new rebuilt carb. Also had a new seat cover installed. New fuel tank and sending unit also. This truck is very solid for its age. It needs kick panels, cab corners are just starting to show some spots and a new floor in the box, it has a plywood built bed in the box over whats left of the factory wood. I had no intention of restoring this truck but to preserve it the way it was.Truck starts right up. I drive this truck on a daily basis when the weather provides. If your looking for a very solid truck this is the one.Very hard to find a mostly original 3/4 ton truck of this age in this condition, most were used on farms and destroyed. The truck is 62 years old it is not perfect it has its own patina and wear. Would look great with a old motorcycle in the back end and your shops logo on the door. Its time for it to find a new owner.
