Vehicle Detail
I am not a dealer. This is my personal car that I have driven for the last 5 months. I recently got a new job that comes with a company car and can't have two cars. First things first (and why the asking price is so low): This car has the DSC (Dynamic Stability Control), ABS Brake and "Service Engine Soon" lights on. This only started about two weeks ago. The nearest BMW dealer is an hour away and I don't have time to take it in having just started a new job. I am not a mechanic and have no idea how major or minor the problem may be. These lights are amber (not red), meaning the car can be driven. The car starts, runs and drives perfectly. The engine runs smooth and strong. I would drive this car ANY distance without hesitation. The car has been very well taken care of, with all service done as scheduled, including a recent Mobil 1 (the proper BMW-recommended European formula) oil change. The engine runs strong and the transmission shifts perfectly. It handles beautifully on the road. Tires are fairly new, with less than 15,000 miles on them. As you can see by the photos, the interior and exterior look great. The only appearance issue would be the lower right rear quarter panel. As you can see by the photo, the finish is not glossy. The previous owner said she scraped the panel and never refinished it properly. I installed a Dice Mediabridge for total integration of my iPhone and will leave it in the car unless the buyer does not want it. The device works great, allowing for hands-free use of the phone and integration of the iPhone audio features with the Harman Kardon factory stereo system. The steering wheel controls work with the system and the phone button on the steering wheel even activates Siri on the iPhone 4S. That being said, the cradle and Mediabridge (which is installed behind the glovebox) can be totally and cleanly removed if you don't want it in there, as it is installed in such a matter with no holes drilled or adhesives used. It is cleanly bolted in with one existing factory dash bolt. All four power windows work perfectly. The A/C blows ice-cold.All radio and dashboard pixels work perfectly. The illumination of the coolant temperature gauge is dim at night. I believe this is a cheap fix by replacing a bulb, but haven't done it. The car has a full-size spare tire mounted on an additional BMW M-Sport rim, identical to the other four. I also have the original front license plate bracket which is easy to install. If you have any questions please ask. I take ride in my perfect eBay rating and my integrity.
