Vehicle Detail
1991 BMW 318is - Alpine WhiteHad the car painted about a year ago, the clear coat was peeling kind-of bad and, you will notice from the images, it looks much better now. Lots of aftermarket parts:4.27 rear end, out of the 318i Convertible (pretty rare to find one of these)MoMo steering wheel (original steering wheel and airbag is also included)Koni Adjustable ShocksH&R Race SpringsReinforced engine mountsReinforced strut mountsUpper and lower front and rear sway/strut bracesBlaupunkt Stereo (6 speakers + San Francisco CD72 Radio, radio is removed because of an issue with the face plate, it kept falling off, however I am included the original tape player radio as well in case it can't be fixed)Ireland Engineering Camber Adjustment PlatesFog LightsFront and Rear Spoiler (you may notice there is painters tape over the rear spoiler install points, the paint cracked after the shop painted it. I removed it to repaint)New Steering Rack (less than 100 miles old)Turner Motorsports performance chipStainless steel cat back exhaustNew beltsComplete Tool KitI honestly can't remember if this is everything I've done or not, I will add more later if I can remember anything else.I've had this car for 7 (seven) years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I started out auto-crossing it some and it has been my daily driver off and on the whole time I've owned it. This car is in great physical and working condition. It handles like a snake, and drives strong! That's not to say this car is perfect, it isn't. I've tried to exhibit all of the known issues in the pictures and if you would like to see more please don't hesitate to ask. The dash looks like a desert wasteland with several very large, irreparable cracks. If this wasn't such a pain to replace I would have done so myself a long time ago. The two front tires could use to be replaced, and it definitely needs an alignment. One of the belts will squeak sometimes upon starting up, however it isn't all the time and stops quickly, it's never been enough of an issue for me to actually check on it. The front bumper has a small crack in the paint on the drivers side, there's a picture of that in the shots. In the back seat on the passenger side of the ashtray there is a break in the plastic trim. The thin piece of plastic over the alert light above the windshield is also cracked. The front brakes have started squeaking and could probably use to be replaced soon. The seats and interior are in excellent condition, with the drivers side having several small cracks and a small piece of the piping showing through. These are the black pleather seats. The A/C could use to be recharged, however blows very well. Also the heat works excellent!I love this car, and I hate to see it go, but it's just one of those things. As you can see on my other listings, I'm selling my bike and camera too. My girlfriend and I broke up right before she moved to England, I screwed up, and well, I've gotta chase her down before some suave European swoops in and steals her from me. So I'm selling my most valuable possessions and hitting the road. I'm starting the bid at $2750 with no reserve, but I think the car is worth quite a bit more than that. If you have any questions or would like to see more pictures, please don't hesitate to ask. Happy bidding!
