Normal 0 Up for Auction is this 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback ! Shelby GT350 tribute Up for Auction is this Beautifully Restored CandyApple Red 1965 Mustang 2+ 2 Fastback. This Mustang was completely restored a few years ago and has only been driven 3,000 miles since its restoration. The car is in mint condition and has always been garage kept. Body: One of the best parts about this car is the body. I have crawled all around this car and there is No Rust anywhere on the car ! The paint job was professionally done with Ford CandyApple Red base coat and several coats of clear, then White Lemans Stripes and GT350 side stripes. This is not a cheapo paint job and would cost $8,000 - $10K at most restoration shops. All the body panels line up excellent and I do not see any evidence of any previous accidents anywhere. All of the chrome and trim is new on the car and is Perfect ! All the glass is in excellent shape with no chips or cracks. And what I like most about this car is the paint job. Mirror like finish! I get tons of compliments on it and people often ask for pictures beside it. Engine: Good running 289 V8 w/ factory 302 4V heads and 4V intake and Holley carb and dual exhaust. Runs like it should and I have uploaded a video of the car running. Transmission: 4 speed Toploader Manual transmission. Shifts fine, clutch feels good. Suspension, steering & brakes: The entire front suspension and steering was just rebuilt. New upper & lower control arms, ball joints, shocks, tie rods, etc… Power steering was added at this time and makes the car easier to drive. The car rides, steers and handles great. The brakes work Normal 0 fine, but are the stock drum brakes. I have had plans to convert to disc brakes and kits are like $550. Also the wheels are Magnum 500’s and tires have less than 3K miles on them. Interior: The Original Black interior of the car is also restored and is in excellent shape. Nice dash pad, headliner, carpet, door panels. Has original AM Radio and the correct folding rear seat and trap door. A deposit of $2000 is due within 48 hours of the ending of the auction. And the balance within 7 days. PLEASE Do Not bid if you don't have the money or serious about following through with the purchase.
