Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is this 2000 Ford F-250 XLT Superduty. 4x4 7.3L diesel Powerstroke. 6 Speed Manual Transmission. These are getting harder and harder to find, and if you know diesels this is the best motor they have came out with. I sold my last one and it had over 300,000 miles on it and still ran strong so don't let the miles scare you. Mechanically this truck is strong running. The only Mechanical thing wrong with it is it will occasionally grind in second gear which for some reason must be a flaw in these trucks because the last 2 I have had have done this. I have had this truck since September of 2010. I bought it with around 175,000 miles on it and it now has 211,367 but I am still driving it daily so this will increase. When I bought it in 2010 it needed some new parts and regular maintenance. Within last two years I have put several new parts on it. New Clutch New pressure build up plate Rebuilt Turbo Within the last year I have put the following parts on it. New altanator New slave cylander New Mass Air sensor New Tires (Front 1/2 to 3/4 tread, Back two brand new) 2 new heavy duty Interstate batteries New ball Joints New front shocks New Limited slip rear end I put 4 new tires on it within the last year and two of the tires didn't hold up so this week I put 2 new ones on the back. This truck has a gooseneck ball installed in the bed and it has exhaust stacks. It also has a towing hitch, running boards, and a brush guard. I would take this truck anywhere. I actually just pulled my cousins camper to North Dakota and back which is over a 12 hour drive each way. Seats 6. The Bad This isn't the prettiest truck in the world. It came from Iowa and the salt in the winter was not nice to it. It has a lot of rust. As you can see in the pictures the bed is really bad. This would make a good truck to put a bale bed on or a flat bed. It has dents and scratches throughout the truck. The interior has a few wear holes in it but nothing horrible. If you have any questions or would like to test drive it please call 660-676-2389. Serious buyers only. $200.00 deposit due by paypal within 48 hours after auction ends.
