MB 190SL Rare Rare Up for auction a 1960 Mercedes Benz 190SL. This 190SL is mostly complete.but is missing the dash clock,solex carburetors,air horn,spare tire and jack. The large window removable hardtop is part of this 190SL,no soft top.Unfortunately the glass window of the hardtop has been shattered. The engine # 121-921-10- 015637 turns freely by hand. Odometer shows 03746,actual mileage unknown. There is rust in the quarter panels,nose panel,front frame rail,and driver's side footwell. The battery box is completely rusted out. There are other rusted areas on the body,including surface rust and other rust throughs. See pictures. The red leather driver's seat is intact,the passenger seat cushion is heavily damaged.Passenger seat back cushion is well worn,but intact. The glass with the exception of the hardtop is intact,not broken or cracked. The car with all its faults is original as found last licensed in 1971. The turnbuckes,latches,handles and other small hardware items as well as the sun visors are present. The radio is the Blaupunt am/fm pushbutton model.
