This is a 1960 F100 short bed with a 1959 front clip. I purchased the truck 5 years ago from a gentleman in the Las Vegas, NV area and had it shipped to Ohio. It has been stored in a heated garage since. I planned to do a complete frame off restoration, but.... I purchased a 1973 Mustang and have been working on it instead and I recently purchased another 1960 F100 already restored. I don't have the garage space to keep this truck as well. It is pretty much in the same condition as when I bought it. The truck does run, but I have not driven it other than a short trip thru the neighborhood once or twice a year. The 292 y-block seems to run well, but the carb could use some adjusting (runs rich). The clutch cylinder leaks so you have to keep putting fluid in it and pump the clutch pedal to get it to operate. I had planned on installing a C4 automatic so the clutch wasn't an issue. Replaced speedo/gauge light cluster (2 gauges, 2 lights) with a better looking complete gauge cluster(4 gauges)/speedo from a C800. Original speedo showed 19734 miles, new one shows 13124 miles. Body is very solid and fairly straight with no rust other than some surface rust. Previous owner did state that he replaced the lower cab corners. I have purchased a little over $3000.00 in new parts that will be included: NEW PARTS INSTALLED ON TRUCK (2) new rear tires 275/60-15 3 spd floor shifter headlight switch, knob & bezel (only headlight, tail & parking lights hooked up) windshield (new rubber seal for windshield and rear window) new battery complete (4) gauge cluster and speedo from Ford C800 (used, not hooked up) NEW PARTS NOT INSTALLED all motor mounts rear spring shackle bushings, front spring shackles front & rear shocks, tie rod with ends rear brakes (cross drilled drums, shoes, hardware & wheel cylinders) front disc brake conversion (cross drilled/slotted rotors, loaded calipers, wheel bearings, brackets and all hardware) power brake conversion kit (chrome brake booster, chrome proportioning valve, and all hardware) power steering conversion kit (steering box, brackets and hardware) power steering pump still needed tri power intake with (3) 2bbl rochester carbs, fuel rail, and air cleaners (intake is used, carbs are rebuilt) EZ wire 12 circuit wire harness with fuse block, connectors, flashers and horn relay front parking/turn signal lights, tail light lenses with gaskets and screws transmission cover with hole for floor shifter (used) also included is a cover for a F100 long bed (ordered a short bed but LMC sent the one for a long bed) I have approximately $6300.00 invested in the truck, reserve is far below my investment.
