Selling my 1992 Jetta 1.6L EcoDiesel, 5-speed manual. Car has 256k on it but the following items have less that 1,500 miles on them: new engine, clutch, injection pump and exhaust along with some other misc parts all from partsplace.com. Tires have more that 85% left. Car drives great. Easily gets on the freeway and cruises at 70 no problem while still getting great fuel mileage (45+). A great little car that I just don't need anymore. I'm willing to discuss delivery options but we must agree on that BEFORE you bid. If you're not sure about this, ask. On Sep-15-12 at 08:46:59 PDT, seller added the following information: Selling my 1992 Jetta 1.6L EcoDiesel, 5-speed manual. For those that do not know, the EcoDiesel is a turbo version. Car has 256k on it but the following items have less that 1,500 miles on them: new engine, clutch, injection pump and exhaust along with some other misc parts all from partsplace.com. Many have asked so I'm writing it here...the engine was a crate long block purchased from Partsplace.com at a cost of $2,295. Tires have more that 85% left. Car drives great. It does not wander on the freeway and there is no apparent play in the steering. Easily gets on the freeway and cruises at 70 no problem while still getting great fuel mileage (45+). The AC does NOT work. I believe you would need a new compressor, filter/dryer and the three hoses. The only rust on the body appears to be under the windshield. The door jams all look great. The clear coat paint on the hood and roof is fadded. A great little car that I just don't need anymore (recent bought a house and have other projects now). I'm willing to discuss delivery options but we must agree on that BEFORE you bid. If you're not sure about this, ask.
