this is a '74 VW Super Beetle type 1, 1600cc engine (all stock), 4spd manual trans with 41,971 miles. I am 4th owner & car was bougt new in Knoxville,Tn. @ Snider Motors 11, Inc. & was delivered to original owner on 3-8-74. Air Condition was dealer installed 3-8-74 with 6 miles on the bug. I have title, owners manual, A/C warranty voucher, original customer ID card, & several service records. car has new tires, brakes, tune-up & runs/drives great. all lights work as they should & bug is 100% turn key & drive. now, with that being said, car is also 38 yrs old & is not perfect. body is solid, drive train sound, but interior will need some attention. dash has 2 small cracks, passenger side front seat has 1 rip in it. headliner is there, but is stained & would need changed to be a really nice car. also will need a carpet kit, & a glove box latch, but all these parts are cheap. sunroof mechanism works, slides forward & reverse, but roof panel is off track & does not move. previous owner had taken front bumper off & installed a tow bar & I did not get front bumper when I bought the car. car is missing the bottom section of back seat, but I have located it & should have it back in car before auction ends, but no promises. all & all, this is a great little bug...probably sounds worse that it is, but just trying to be honest & up front about everything. I do require a non refundable deposit of $500 into my paypal account within 48 hrs of auction end with balance due in CASH at time of pickup. car is to be picked up within 7days of auction end unless other arrangements are agreed upon.
