1942 Packard, built Oct of 1941 Car ID number #1592-4767 I have owned this Packard for over 10 years and enjoyed it to no end. Now it is time for the old car to find a new home. I am ageing out and don’t use the car like it should be used. Most of my friends that I used to go to car shows are no longer with us. The car was restored on the outside just before I bought it. The inside is all original and in good condition for the age. This isn’t a point car, but a good driver and fun to take to cruse in’s. It is a two tone red, hard to see the difference in the pictures. I have some touch up paint for both colors. The paint is base coat, clear coat. The brake system has been totally rebuilt and the brake fluid is synthetic. The battery, voltage regulator wires and coil are new. The grills, bumpers, and blades have been chromed since I have owned the car. The front bumper wasn’t done like it should and didn’t last even a year. There are some chips and bubbles and one glass that is broken. I have shown most of this in the pictures. I have lots of other pictures that I can email.
