1973 vw bus lived its life mostly in portland oregon until the 2nd owner bought it and moved it to tacoma washington after he found it in that portland barn. stored there since 1991 COMES WITH SERVICE RECORDS dating back to the 1980's i believe ( been a while since i read them) i bought this vw bus in tacoma wa in 2009 after he rebuilt the engine and transmission, the bus was for his wife who has fallen ill with termal cancer. so i recieved it with an extra parts bus cut up inside of this bus stored in tubs and a whole additional front end including extra doors and rare vw parts . all parts are orginal theres mostly everything to finish restoration. it currently does not run. the fuel tank got corroded ( i just finished resealing it the tank is permanently fix ) But the fuel lines need gone thru still along with the brakes and suspension systems. Its been sitting outside for 3 years . since i bought it i had alot happen in my life to where i just got it home to columbus ohio after 3 years of owning it. so basically when i bought it there was less that needed done. i was driving it the week i bought it. but after my struggle to get it home over all this time has left it in need of a much better home. this can become a beautiful beautiful bus again.
