Vehicle Detail
For sale 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata, a mid life (58 year old owner) garage queen who's time has come. Purchased in 2006 with 4000 miles, over the next few years I added many tweeks to improve the enjoyment and performance of this car: a Flyin Miata full stainless steel exhaust with high flow cat and oversize intercooler, Track dog roll bar, then added 550 cc injectors and a Hydra Nemesis ECU (2.64V) and an O2 sensor and manual boost controller set for 12 psi, Racing Beat front tubular sway bar (1.125"), EPC rotors and Green brake pads, Tein Flex coil overs, Enkie 16" wheels running 225/40 Hankooks (which are down to the wear indicators - passed recent safety inspection), then a high capacity aluminum radiator and finally I added the new flyin miata garrett GT2560R turbo kit (ball bearing verses sleeve for the IHI) and their new cast high flow manifold. Horsepower from Flyin miata dyno: 255 HP with very broad power starting at 3k pulling to 7k. No midrange flat spot like a stock MSM. I drove this car very little after it was completed ( a few partial track days and a few autocross events) usually less than 1000 miles per spring/summer, garage stored the rest of the time. I put 6k miles on it over 6 years mostly commuting to work. It has had annual synthetic oils changes and is running the stock clutch (which says alot as to how this car has been treated). No engine work and no repairs of any kind. Door ding on the drivers door edge (I opened the door into a garage cabinet handle and a slight fender dent above the right front tire. Very clean and very strong running car. If you add it up, you would spend $10k just in parts to build this car. The ECU tuning is fully supported by Flyin Miata (Jeremy) and fully programmable using a lap top. The fuel map is setup for 91 octane. The current setup is not OBDII compliant but the stock ECU is still in place. By adding a stock Mass air flow sensor and a piggy back ECU, it could pass any state smog requirement. Send your questions and feel free to schedule an inspection and test drive. If "buy it now" option is used, I will include a new Mazda 3.63:1 ring and pinion set with speedometer gear (~$600 - never got around to installing them). clear title is in hand. pmt by wire, certified funds or third party escrow. I added some video this morning - sorry about the quality, best I could do without a camera mount outside video walk around http://youtu.be/R0d-gOwVm_Y full pull 1-4 http://youtu.be/AA7ONPEbW20 slow pull 2k-5k 4th gear http://youtu.be/mCzvFo9FkXw
