1963 Triumph TR4; a fine driver that can use some freshening. This Florida car was restored in the mid 1980’s but the Signal Red lacquer paint is now very tired. It is flaking off in places and rubbing through in others. I have owned this car since 2000 and have only driven it about 2000 miles a year. During that time I have replaced the front springs, re-bushed the front suspension, had the SU Carbs rebuilt and re-bushed by Apple hydraulics. Installed K&N air filters. Stainless steel exhaust system. Rebuilt the distributor. Installed a Hi torque starter. Silicon fluid in the hydraulics. The engine was refreshed at the last restoration. The car was at that time stripped of paint so there is only one coat of lacquer and primer on the car. Generally a rust free example. There is some bubbling on the lower left fender and broken paint in the trunk floor. It does have it’s share of dings and minor dents. Please look at the pictures and ask questions. I don’t want anyone to feel they have been misled. I was going to repaint the car one panel at a time and keep it on the road but….. This TR4 still has it’s quirks but it will not take much to get it extremely presentable. Non Overdrive car. Clear Illinois title. USA bidders only please.
