Pontiac Guys...... Here is a pretty Rare 1965 GTO....PHS documented...NOT A CLONE....I purchased this car from the original Owner which ordered this car with a 389 4bbl and had the dealer in the Redford area, Detroit install a 421 HO 3x2 before he took delivery....The engine (casting # 9778791) is out of the car in is standard bore 4 bolt, the block is double stamped YH then XX below the YH with #77 heads....Production date of Late Dec. 1964....the intake (casting # 9778818) and carbs (original) have already been restored, with the 3x2 original chrome air cleaner covers. This cars production Date is the 3rd week of May 1965 This car came Teal Turquise metallic, Black interior, radio, Deluxe Wood steering wheel, Rally dash, tinted windows, drivers side mirror, Saf-T-Track, Seat belts. I have the Original Window Sticker for this GTO....Price $3,471.02......don't you wish you could pay that now!!! This car WILL Need: Wheelhouses, Quarter panels, Trunk Floor,Very little lower fender work and some floor pan work....Thats about it for metal work Interior will need a headliner and the dash restored....I have new carpet and have scrubbed the original seats to a good shine...the fabric isn't to hard...but the rear seat has a small v-shaped rip in the center. All the glass is good except the Windshield The engine bay is Near Perfect... I don't have the original 4spd. transmission..... The vinyl top is OK for a driver but not a Show Car This car was a sweet car in her prime...it really needs someone to take her back to that. I have to put a reserve on this car but it will be LOW...I assure you, Please BID to WIN...there's $3500 worth of engine parts alone I will Not Separate the engine from This Car....as crazy as it may sound.....and many will disagree...but this is a dealer installed 421 HO for this car...I have the original family owned Title in my possesion and alot of the history with it.
